  Note Brick & Vines at Morris and James is in the process of renaming itself to Ringawera Cafe - apparently the previous operators of the Waiheke Is cafe (Paddy Griffiths) has moved to here. One hopes they were not operating this cafe over December and January because when we visited the service was disgusting. No welcoming greeting or prompt delivery of food - staff were confused with pricing and exceptionally rude. Items in the cabinet were not even what they were being advertised as (bacon being passed off as prosciutto). We visit Morris and James regularly and the cafe was previously lovely but after this experience we a dubious to try them again - especially when Matakana has such a great choice of cafe....you can drive a few minutes and dine somewhere else. Waiheke is a different ball park - to play here you need to always be on your top game.
